ERATH — Thomas C. Smith, “T.C.”, “Top Cat”, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
He was born April 24, 1944, in Jena, Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Willie A. Pritchard Smith; two daughters, Karen Veazey of Erath, Mylissa and her husband, Richard Delcambre, Jr. of Delcambre; adopted daughter Brenda and her husband Reily Monceaux of Erath; adopted sons, Charlie Lowery and Archie Lowery; six granddaughters, Brittnie Veazey, Kylie Veazey, Alyssa Veazey, Katlin Bossley, and Candice and Rachel Fontenot; adopted grandchildren, Robert and Franklin Mooreheart, Jr., Christopher Mooreheart,Ralie Monceaux; one great-grandchild, Cordy; one brother, Earl Steve Smith and his wife, Patty of Texas; two sisters, Yvonne Smith of Jena and Mary Ann Smith of Clayton.
He is proceeded in death by his mom, Valerie Deville and his father, Oscar Smith.
Special thanks to family and friends Arline and Dean Tekell, Betty and Tee Thibeaux, Troy and Francine Leblanc, Mary and Ernest Gibson, Jense Veazey and Pervis Lee, who all helped out at home.
A memorial service will be conducted by Steve Cripps.
