ABBEVILLE — Funeral services for Eddie Landry,71, will be 2:00PM Friday February 26, 2016 in David Funeral Home of Abbeville with Deacon Harry Darsey officiating. Interment will follow in Leroy Cemetery. Visitation will be in David Funeral Home Friday February 26, 2016 from 9:00AM until service time with recitation of the rosary at 10:00AM.
Eddie, Born in Abbeville and a resident of Kaplan, passed away Wednesday February 24, 2016 in his residence.
He was a member of the Louisiana National Guard and he enjoyed his work as a Mud Engineer with 45 years of service. He was an avid guitar player and realized his love for music as a young boy.Spending time and playing music with his friends was his passion.
Eddie is survived by his son Scott E. Landry and wife Kim of Abbeville; His daughter Christine Landry Leggett of Lafayette; his sisters Gloria Duhon and husband Jude of Lafayette, Mary Ellen Guidry and husband Peter of Abbeville; five grandchildren Logan, Dillon, Brannigan, Remi, and Ahna Claire, and one great grandchild Aleigh Rae.
He is preceded in death by his parents Will and Paula Baudoin Landry, and a sister Maureen Faulk.
